Ms. LeTonya Coleman
I am so excited to join the Administrative Team at R.K. Smith Middle School! This year marks my 22nd year in education, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue serving the students and families of St. Charles Parish.
Since joining the R.K. Smith family in 2012, I have taught and co-taught grades 6-8 Math in both regular and special education settings. Over the years, I have served as Department Chair, 7th Grade Team Leader, New Teacher Mentor, District Math PLT Leader, and a member of the School Success Team and Guiding Coalition, and most recently, I was honored to participate in the district’s Aspiring Leaders Academy.
In my new role as Dean of School Climate and Discipline, I look forward to supporting our students, families, and staff while helping foster a positive and engaging school environment where every student can thrive.
