Mrs. Jennifer Green

I am thrilled to join the Administrative Team at RK Smith Middle School! I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8) from the University of New Orleans and two Master of Arts degrees in Education—Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership—from Louisiana State University Shreveport. I joined the RK Smith faculty in 2017 and have taught ELA, science, and social studies in both the regular education and special education setting. In 2021, I was honored as the  RK Smith Teacher of the Year and also the St. Charles Parish Public Schools Middle School Teacher of the Year. In my new role as Assistant Principal, I am looking forward to collaborating with our incredible staff, as well as our students, families, and stakeholders, to advance the school’s mission of ensuring that all students are critical thinkers and lifelong learners who make a positive impact on society.
